Classic Cocktails

Move over cosmos, these classic mixed drinks are making a comeback.

Cheers to Don and Sally Draper for helping revive the cocktail culture of 1960s America.

Sidecar

1-1/2 ounces cognac
3/4 ounce triple sec
3/4 ounce lemon juice

Shake with ice and strain into a sugar-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with orange slice.


Vodka Gimlet

1-1/2 ounces vodka
3/4 ounce lime juice

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Add lime slices.


Whiskey Sour

2 ounces whiskey
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 tsp sugar

Shake with ice and strain over ice in rocks glass. Garnish with maraschino cherry and orange wedge.


Tom Collins

1-1/2 ounces gin
1 ounce lemon juice
1 tsp sugar

Shake and strain over ice in collins glass. Top with club soda and garnish with lemon slices.
