Mulled Cider

Ingredients ~

1/2 gallon apple cider
4 cinnamon sticks
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 orange, thinly sliced
2 whole allspice
2 whole cloves
1/2 cup brandy (or rum)

Preparation ~

Simmer first six ingredients over low to medium heat for about 20 minutes. Strain, stir in brandy and serve hot with an orange twist.

Makes 16 servings
